I believe in complete transparency about your hair extension journey to ensure you know exactly what you are getting. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions and Answers to help you feel confident in choosing me as your IBE Artist.
What are Hand-Tied Beaded Weft Extensions?
It is a way that hand tied wefts are placed and stitched to a thin, uniform row of silicone lined beads across the scalp.
How long does the hair last?
The hair you invest in at your initial install is reusable, and can be used for up to 12 months, before being replaced. The better you care for it at home, the longer you will be able to make it last.
What is the at home care?
At home care of hand tied extensions involves daily gentle brushing, blowdrying after each wash, and sleeping with your hair in a braid at night, along with using a heat protectant and leave-in oil.
Can I color my hair with extensions in?
To protect the integrity of your high quality hair, it's always best to have your goal color first, and then color match and install the extensions to blend with that. Doing a color touch up during your move-up appointments is always an option!
What is a "move-up"?
Since the extensions are attached to your natural hair, your maintenance move-up appointments are when you're hair grows out and we need to move them up closer to your scalp again.
Can I wear my hair up with extensions in?
Absolutely! You are able to wear your hair up, down, straight, curly, etc. just like you normally do.
What is the in-person consultation like?
After you fill out your Digital Consultation we will set up an in person consult. At your consultation we will go over any additional questions you might have, assess your natural hair density and condition, discuss your current hair struggles, and the goal you are trying to achieve. We will also talk about your normal day-to-day lifestyle and how extensions will work for you personally.

Then it's official! I will order your hair, and as soon as I have a shipping confirmation, I will reach out about upcoming date options for your install!

Invisible Bead Extensions is most well known for their iconic "flip-up" revealing essentially invisible rows of sewn in extensions. Allowing you to wear your hair up or down and everything in-between pain free, it's easy to see why it is the most sought after extension method.
IBE is a method that places a row of beads within your hair. Then hand-tied wefts of hair are sewn to the beads and your natural hair, creating a "row." An IBE application usually consists of 1-3 rows.
The extension hair, being attached to the anchor beads + your hair, is continuously worn as you live your daily life. As your natural hair grows, within 6-10 weeks you will return to the salon for a "move-up" to re-install the extensions.
